DONATIONS
Every year the WMS PTSO conducts several fundraising events in an effort to contribute back to our school. Money raised throughout the year is donated back to the school to purchase tangible items needed improve the school, provide improvements in enrichment programs, technology and art programs and other specialized opportunities to name a few. Over recent years the WMS PTSO and WMS have partnered to provide the following items with the help of YOUR contributions!
Gym sound system and presentation upgrade Weekly Weddington Wildcat program support (e.g. t-shirts and other promotional items) Custodial equipment and supplies: hand trucks, table racks, Weddington floor mats, etc. Theater department: stage boxes, light bar, performance equipment etc. Web cams and other technology to support student learning Interactive panels to enhance instruction Two-way radios upgrades to improve safety communications Upgraded water filling stations 21st century furniture: modified seating, dry erase tables, student desks, chairs, etc. Facility improvements: Painting, grounds maintenance (flowers and pine needles), power washing of windows and trailers Fit Lab maintenance Office and front area beautification: paint, wall decal, mailbox upgrades and inspirational quote Inspirational quotes throughout hallways and school gathering areas Kindness and School Spirit Displays in the cafeteria Gym wall decor and banners
